Oaks Dumpster Rental is seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL A or B Local Part Time Roll-Off Truck Drivers in Rochester, NY to join our growing team. The role involves operating roll-off trucks for the delivery, pick-up, and dumping of dumpsters across the region. We offer exceptional benefits and excellent work-life balance.Compensation * Hourly pay rate: $25 - $30 * Average hours weekly: 20 * Employee referral program: Refer another employee and after 6 months of their employment, both employees receive bonus! * $1,000 paid to employee who made the referral * $500 paid to referred employee * Paid via direct deposit weeklyBenefits & Perks * Great company benefits starting the 1st of the month following hire date: * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance * Disability insurance * 401K with company match * 6 Paid company holidays * Additional floating holidays * Paid Time Off: 56 hours * Paid training and paid orientation * Employee discounts with all Oaks companiesHome Time, Route, & Schedule * Home Time: Home daily, home weekends! * Schedule: Monday - Friday * Shift: Starting shifts vary * Route: Within the greater Rochester area * Level of Touch: Secure dumpster contents using tie-downs or tarps as needed (automatic tarp system provided)Equipment * Kenworth hook-lift trucks * Automatic transmission * Tablet includedResponsibilities * Operate roll-off trucks to deliver, remove, and service dumpsters at customer sites * Dump loads at authorized disposal locations in compliance with DOT regulations * Interact professionally with customers and represent the company in a respectful and courteous manner * Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned trucks and equipment * Follow daily route assignments and update dispatch via smartphone communication * Perform pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with company and DOT standards * Adhere to all company safety policies and proceduresQualifications * Must be at least 21 years of age * Must have CDL A or B license * Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience * Roll-off or dump truck experience strongly preferred * Must be able to lift, climb, and secure loads on dumpsters * No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years * Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations * Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen * Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Rochester, NY or be willing to relocate for this position Oaks Dumpster Rental is a trusted provider of waste management solutions, offering reliable roll-off dumpster services for residential and commercial customers across New York and surrounding areas.
